Last week, we had a lot of guests for the Holiday season and had to cancel a lot of official lunches and dinner tastings. None the less, we still had to eat and since its festive season, Brunches are the best options! We went on to try the Friday brunch at Mahec located at Le Meridian Village in Garhoud.
Interior
The interiors are spacious, classy and well done. There’s a bar counter, a buffet spread, dancing area/Lounge and dining area. Wooden flooring and the natural sunlight also gives out natural vibes.
Starters
For the Brunch, they served 3 variety of chaat at the table. We got Dahi Puri, Pani Puri shots, and puri chaat.
The chaat was authentic and we loved the Pani puri shots. It was spicy and crisp…definitely fresh.
Grill
The grill was also served on the tables and being prepared in the backyard of Mahec. We got the lamb chops, chicken, and spicy fish.
All the BBQ had their own flavors. My favorite was the fish and the lamb chops.
Main course
The buffet had more than a decent amount of variety. They had a dish in Prawn, mutton, chicken, vegetables, soya bean, curries, and dal. Fresh naan and Biryani rice. The good part was that every dish had its own flavor palette and was excellent.
The good part was that every dish had its own flavor palette and was excellent in taste and quality. The bad part – Why no Biryani ?????
Desserts
Fresh Gulab jamuns, Ras malai, mango mousse, and Fig custard in desserts. Tried it all and loved it all.
Shoutout to the head chef – Asif Khan (if not mistaken) for serving quality dishes and having an excellent spread of variety! Hope I see some Biryani the next time we are back. I wouldn’t mind going back to Mahec even for some a la carte!
The service was good too contrary to the last time I had an Indian Brunch, it was a disaster. You can check out the review of Patiala here!
Oh my gosh! I was there too!
