Makarem Restaurant in Barsha 3 serves more than Mandi. The restaurant has seating upstairs with traditional cabins and normal tables as well. There’s plenty of free parking in front of the restaurant and you can also park on the back street.
The Meat Nashif was my favorite along with the recommended Rutab bread. Tender meat in tomato freshly prepared in a clay pot. The Mloh bread was softer and also excellent. Highly recommend it!
I got a Madhbi with Makarem rice. The charcoal chicken was juicy and well marinated. We got a chicken Mandi with mandi rice. The rice quality could be better. It comes with a side of soup and some amazing sauce.
The Meat Haneeth was a big one. The entire leg of lamb is cooked in tandoor with spices and served with rice. The meat was tender and it’s enough for more than 2-3 people.
For the dessert, we got a cream kunafa and a Nutella kunafa with some cinnamon tea. I preferred the cream kunafa. My recommendations – Mutton Nashif, the fresh breads and the Madhbi chicken with Makarem rice!
