The most exquisite and lavish restaurant has been launched in Dubai at Al Seef. Doors Freestyle Grill is serving a Turkish/International cuisine which will not disappoint you in any way. There’s indoor and outdoor seating and it’s extravagant both ways. The seats are designed by Bentley and the interiors are similar to Dubai Opera.
For starters, we got a Tomato salad, Pomegranate salad, Lamb Pide and some drinks. The tomato salad was outstanding and so were the drinks!
The Iskender Kebab was the best one I had yet and I’ve tried it in all the Turkish restaurant in Dubai and Istanbul! The smoky flavor and butter might be the secret. We also got the lamb chops which were very flavorful but had just 2 pieces.
For the mains, we got the house special ‘Butterfall steak’. It’s prepared live on the table starting with butter running down a massive bone marrow. Served on the Turkish bread, it is probably the best thing you can have here!
We got the whole trolley with a variety of desserts. The chocolate sphere was amazing with ice cream and fresh fruits inside. The berry milk cake was another good one.
Overall, the service was great. The doors have taken care of every detail. The cups, pots, and even the toothpick stand was exquisite. The baby chair looked like the King’s throne and the bathrooms were fitted with Versace. The only downside I see is the prices which are extremely high. Never the less, Dubai is a rich city and I really hope Doors is here to stay!
