The weather was little short of perfect and we were ready to dig in some meat! Souk Al Bahar was our destination. The Meat Co has a nice view of the downtown and the Burj Khalifa.
We ordered some drinks – Brazilian Saudade and Black cooler. The mocktails are really better than most places and refreshing!
Salt and Pepper Calamari is the house favorite for a decade and it pleased us too! The burrata cheese not so much as it didn’t seem fresh in texture.
Red Chili prawns, another house favorite was Thai Style and excellent in terms of flavors.
The best part was the Main course! I got an Australian Angus Fillet which was Medium Well done and served with a side of Peppercorn sauce and mash potatoes. Also got some extra truffle butter on the side. My perfect steak and all the right combination!
The BBQ Beef ribs were special too. It was huge in size and was slathered with barbecue sauce and comes with the side choice of potatoes.
The Valrhona chocolate fondant is a must try. It was sinfully good and perfectly done. The Nutella cheesecake was also pretty good and big in size. Loved both of them!
Overall, The Meat Co has great starters, even better was the main course and top it off with some excellent desserts. Service was good but more attention should be given. The steak range is pretty good and they have it all available! The Meat Co recommended!
