Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula

This is the first time that I will be sharing a beauty review with my husband so I’m pretty excited for this memorable one. I’ll be sharing my views on Palmer’s cocoa butter formula along with my husband’s views on Palmer’s cocoa butter formula MEN body & face lotion. Palmer’s is an American brand which is famous for skin care.

People have the brand Palmer’s in their homes since they could remember it. It has been passed on from one generation to another. It could only be attributed to the proven benefits of the variety of product Palmer’s has. Mothers start taking care of their kids’ skin especially girls with Palmer’s body lotions due to their rich ingredients and smoothening and softening qualities. People believe that Palmer’s products have helped them a lot to keep their skin looking great always.

Palmer’s has a range of body lotions. Their products claim to be effective in post pregnancy in removing the stretch marks. It is a misconception that Palmer’s only caters to pregnant women and stretch marks. It may be beneficial to preggers, but their products are for all, regardless of the age or sex.

Two days before Valentine’s Day, I received a gift box from the ever so sweet team of Palmer’s. I was highly elated to see the couple gift set that consisted of their classic Cocoa Butter Formula with Vitamin E along with their newly launched Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula MEN Body & Face Lotion.

 

This was the first time that I realized that my husband never used or even owned a body moisturizer. I made him use this for a week and at first, he was a bit reluctant with the notion of him using a body moisturizer (typical alpha male syndrome) but then when I told him that this is a face and body lotion then he was more than ready to hop on the bandwagon. I will be giving out his verdict on the product.

His Verdict:

Even guys like to keep their skin moisturized especially in winters. Palmer’s cocoa butter formula for men is a no-nonsense cocoa butter that you can also use post shave as an after shave balm. It has a nice thick texture. Despite it being aimed at MEN, it still retains the cocoa butter scent which is a good thing. There are not many facial creams with cocoa butter formula in the market so he will use it mostly for his face. It would have been ideal if the bottle came with a pump as men tend to get a bit too lazy and a bottle with pump comes in quite handy for the lazy boys. He also said that the thing that he liked most about this product was that it absorbed very quickly and felt non-greasy. He will continue using this value for money product mainly as a post shave lotion and face moisturizer.

Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula with Vitamin E

The lotion is pale yellow in color. It has a soft smooth melted butter like texture that feels very fluffy and light weight. It easily gets absorbed into the skin. It feels light and non-sticky. If you are a cocoa lover you will love the fragrance. It does not contain parabens and phthalates. It smooths marks and clears skin tone. It makes skin feel soft and look healthy.

It says in the description that it softens, smoothes and relieves dry skin. This is what I exactly need because of my dry skin. The other lotions that I have tried would relieve me from dry skin for just about a few hours but with Palmer’s Cocoa butter formula, it relieves me of dry skin for the whole day. Hence it is ideal for people with chronic dry skin, sensitive skin and also eczema sufferers.

 

My Verdict:

Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula With Vitamin E Lotion has rich and soft texture. It is easy to spread on the skin, so you do not need to drag your skin while you try to moisturize it. In winters it requires re-application after some time but for summer season it is an ultimate moisturizer. Cocoa lovers would love the fragrance as it smells exactly like an edible dessert.

It is a classic for a reason. Because so many people love it for its rich texture and its soothing scent. I can see and feel the improvement on my skin just after a week of using it. My skin doesn’t feel dry and itchy after hot showers anymore. With Palmer’s, it seems every moment that I apply lotion on my body is such a luxurious experience. The smell and the feel just make me feel very sensuous and beautiful. This will surely stay on my shelf for years to come until I find something more moisturizing than this. It’s a total value for money product. I would rate it 4.5 on 5.
