Being a Biryani fan, it was a shame I hadn’t tried the Biryanis from the south of India. It was always the Hyderabadi, Awadhi, Sindhi, and even Bombay Biryani. This was my first time trying the Thalassery Biryani from Curry Chatti who claim to be the best Biryani in town.
Picked up 2 buckets of Chicken Biryani which came with raita and pickles. The flavors were light and less in masala. Not sure how it is supposed to be like but I did enjoy it. Another dish I got was fried chicken which was better and full of curry leaves flavor.
The packaging was pretty neat. They also have reasonable iftar packages during Ramadan. Curry Chatti is located in Qusais.
