Club Vista Mare is the go-to place for winters in Dubai if you’re around Palm Jumeirah. One of the restaurants we recently tried was Simply Italian serving authentic Italian cuisine. They added a new menu and we were eager to check it out!
There’s outdoor seating by the beach and indoors is very classy and pretty. Although the weather was great, we sat indoors so get better pictures.
Starters
Shrimps curated in orange and served with a side of the burrata foam and sun-dried tomatoes. Enjoyed every bite.
Fresh Burrata with raw vegetables was simple yet tasty. It was definitely very high quality.
Main course
Risotto with black truffle was the highlight of the night. It was al dente so had a nice crunch to it. The smell alone would drive you crazy! Highly recommended!
The ravioli pasta had a seafood base and orange zest to it. Did not care for it much mainly due to the Risotto.
Desserts
It looked like a hot cup of cappuccino but it was ice cream in disguise. Under the froth was some delicious coffee ice cream with a side of crunchy rocks. The other dessert was a classic tiramisu in a jar. It was set perfectly and done right! We loved it.
The service was great and overall the food was too. If you’re craving Italian on Palm Jumeirah, you know where to go! I’d love to go back to try their pizzas and some shisha in this lovely weather.
