Waffle Factory has opened its door in Dubai. Their first branch is located in Burjuman Mall. The delicious Belgian street food uses fresh products, prepared and cooked on site throughout the day!
Mövenpick Ice Cream Shakes
Waffle Factory serves the swiss ice cream as well churn shakes out of them. I tried the Swiss Chocolate shake while Dubaigirl had the classic Strawberry shake. The shakes are refreshing and not heavy as you would expect.
THE LUNCHWAF
It’s basically a savory waffle with stuffing. I got the Chicken Tikka and truly enjoyed it. It was crisp and spicy. The only thing probably missing was a dip as it tends to get dry.
Dubaigirl got herself The Italian chicken. It had three kinds of cheese in it but was still not as good as the tikka waffle.
Now to on my sweet tooth! We tried the sweet waffles and they have a variety of them. We tried two of them.
BRUSSELS WAFFLE
Light and crisp, the Brussels waffle is eaten hot, topped with whipped cream, chocolate or fruit. We got ours drizzled with Nutella and a side of vanilla ice cream. It was indeed fluffy and light.
THE LIEGE WAFFLE
Famous for its beads of sugar which melt during cooking to produce a delicious caramel, the Liège waffle has an enticing, irresistible vanilla flavour. The liege waffle is chewier than the Brussels waffle. We got the Dark melted Belgium chocolate with Strawberries on top. It was excellent and would love to go back for it to try various toppings.
The Waffle factory also serves Waffine Waffle which I would like to try next time! The outlet is located close to the metro station entrance so do try it out if you’re passing through or visit Burjuman.
