Shahran, Dubai

Shahran has opened its doors this week and I got an exclusive preview of their new branch located in Oud Metha. The interiors are pretty and give you the feel of Royal dining. The Hyderabadi cuisine makes way into premium and casual dining with Shahran.

Even though I ordered a fresh juice, I got a taste of Falooda as a shooter. It was really good and I regret not having the whole glass to myself!

The Talawa mutton was excellent. High-quality meat bursting with lots of flavors. We also tried the talawa beef but mutton was hands down the winner.

Chicken 65 sizzler is a must order dish here. It was coated perfectly and you’d love it with the naan or roti!

The kebabs were good despite being less spicy. We got the seekh kebab and mutton boti. It is eaten with a special paratha prepared in ghee.

If you’re having the Hyderabadi cuisine, then Biryani is a must. It’s the best kind of biryani out there and Shahran does an excellent job of bringing the authentic taste. We tried both chicken and mutton and would highly recommend both! Served with bagaray baingan and raita.

For the desserts, we tried Khubani and was in instant love with it. It overshadowed the Almond kheer. We also tried the shahi tukrey and double ka meetha.

Shahran serves authentic Hyderabadi cuisine and uses quality products and ingredients. I’d definitely be back to this place and check out more of their items. Don’t forget to try the recommended items!
