If you have been living in UAE, then you must have tried Mandi for lunch or Dinner. Mandi is a traditional dish from Hadramaut, Yemen and it’s popular all over the Middle East. Over the years, we have tried mandi from lots of places but one particular stand out is Bait Al Mandi.
Their quality of food is better than the rest. They serve a complete package like Yogurt, dakoos sauce (Tomato sauce with chili and vinegar) and it comes with complimentary soup which can be poured over the rice.
Mandi comes with grilled chicken or soft meat but we always prefer Madhabi which is charcoal grilled chicken and it’s way tastier than the mandi! We prefer to eat it on Friday and usually order in or get a take away for the whole family to enjoy.
The pricing is very reasonable at AED 25 and has a generous amount of rice! They will also give you extra dakooz sauce if you ask. Bait Al Mandi is recommended!
