The latest Indian Fine dining restaurant in Dubai is now open at Dubai Convention center. Indus brings a team of professionals along with a whole lot of experience offering Indian cuisine with a contemporary touch. The ambiance is a mix of modern and traditional.
We went for the tasting menu. Indus offers a vegetarian and a non-veg menu. I tried to mix both to get a taste of everything. After the amuse bouche and welcome drink, we got soup and my choice was Tomato dhaniya shorba. It was as fine as it can get!
Our starters came in next, I requested a mix of veg and non-veg. The chicken tangdi kebab was outstanding. It was stuffed with minced chicken and cheese. The fish tikka and galauti kebab were also good.
For the main course, we got some Chicken Tikka masala, Stuffed potato, Goan fish curry, and daal. The fish curry and daal were excellent. The naan was Masala butter garlic naan. The masala can be strong and distort the taste of the curries. We also got a dum lamb biryani that we enjoyed.
For the desserts, we tried the Falooda and Jalebi. The kulfi in Falooda was icy and not creamy. The winner was Jalebi…very crisp and juicy.
The service was great and the staff very professional. Indus has a valet service which is a great option while dining at the convention center.
