Karachi Grill in Jumeirah 2 is more than a casual dining restaurant. The ambiance is modern and has large seating capacity indoors and outdoors. We got served welcome drinks and Prawn crackers with sauce upon seating which was a nice touch and elevates itself into casual fine dining.
I got myself a Mango Lassi and it was the biggest jar I’ve had and was quite good! Along with it, got the Masalsa fries which I had misread and thought it would be Masala Fries. I really think Masala fries should be on the menu, it’s something I’d instantly order!
The Red Zone lamb chops were incredibly juicy and served on swords. It comes along with rice and full marks on taste and presentation. Highly recommend it!!
From the BBQ, we tried the mutton mix grill which had Gola Kebab, Seekh Kebab, Irani Yogurt Boti, and Karachi Grill boti. Even though all of them were excellent, my favorites were the Gola and Seekh kebab.
From the Karahi, I tried the Hari Mirch Karahi. Liked the gravy but expected to be spicier. The Chilmun Biryani was their special and being a biryani lover I did enjoy it.
For the desserts, it was Rasmalai and a Bubble Falooda. The Falooda had ice cream instead of Kulfi but had loads of other treats in it.
Overall, the service was good and the quality of food is high. I really like the location and the ambiance as well. It is also priced very reasonably! If you craving Pakistani cuisine in Jumeirah, Karachi Grill is the place!
