I’ve been to Singapore some 15 odd years ago and don’t remember much of the cuisine. But when I visited Kim’s, some of the dishes brought back the nostalgia! The restaurant interiors are elegant, modern and beautiful, located in Al Seef.
We started with some Golden Pumpkin soup with prawn and crab meat. It was unexpectedly pleasant.
For appetizers, the chicken prawn rolls with the spicy sauce were excellent.
The main star of the day was the Singaporean Chili Crab. The whole cut crab was placed in the delicious gravy which came with a side of white rice and sticky buns. We got the apron and gloves along with tools to get down and messy. It was absolutely divine. Highly recommended !!

We also got the Hokkien Prawn Mee which is the signature dish. We loved it! The only disappointment was the Mango mousse cake which was too dry. The chocolate Pandan fondant was excellent though!
The service was great and the restaurant will be licensed soon! If you love Singaporean cuisine or would like to try it then I’d highly recommend you to visit Kim’s Singaporean Restaurant. You won’t regret it!
