Castello, a very popular hangout in Dubai since the last 15 years for Shisha has been revamped and reopened under new management. Large dining space with screens all over is perfect for football lovers too.
We tried the new menu which adds an Indian fusion by the new team. For starters, the beetroot Chaat was fantastic with an explosion of flavors.
The Lemon Hammoor had a good presentation and a treat for seafood lovers. We also tried some Paneer katafi which was good.
Beef with truffle upma was my favorite dish. Tender pieces of meat on top of truffle flavored upma. Very impressive! The Halabi kebabs also had an Indian touch to it but I prefer the original Lebanese ones! The lamb biryani was great though!
For desserts, we got the Kunafa with strawberry compote. A very creative touch to the Kunafa and I’d be back for it!
Castello has the same great long lasting smooth shisha and now with some delicious dishes. Do watch out for the special nights! The service was excellent and the new team has added a new charm to the place. Recommended for a great evening!!
