Tresind is back with a bang after a renovation! The interiors are more elegant and classy with a new lounge and dining area. Shades of blue and creme have taken over and now has a fantastic new menu as well!
Palate cleanser by Sherine John pre-drinks was something new! We enjoyed the mocktails created by him along with our appetizers tray which had some mini treats.
As usual Chef Himanshu and team have created some extraordinary dishes from start to finish. The chicken tandoori smoked in oak wood was very impressive. The garlic butter prawns cooked on the table were to die for!
The mince dosa looked cute and was tasty! Beef Satay recommended for beef lovers. Paneer steak and Tofu for vegetarians. All the starters with distinctive flavors! You can’t pick one as favorite.
For the main course, the lobster kadai was outstanding. It came with a side of lobster gravy as well. Chicken Chettinad curry and Kosha Mangsho shined. I was more impressed with the Black Thai rice appam and matar kachoris. You must try it all to know how good it was!
The palate cleanser is presented beautifully! No spoilers here but it comes with a tree.
My new favorite dessert of 2018 would be Inspirational Ghewar. It was prepared live with lychees, rasgulla, rabdi and topped with raspberry sorbet. I was completely stuffed but still could not stop eating this incredible dessert.
I am glad Tresind is back and definitely has to be the Top Indian fine dining restaurant not only Dubai but UAE. The new menu is impressive and is my top recommendation for all food lovers!
