Glad to finally see a restaurant dedicated to Kushari in Dubai. Kushari Bites located in Jumeirah 3 with cozy interiors serving some great fusions and variety of Kushari. For those unfamiliar with kushari, it’s a popular Egyptian dish made with a variety of pasta, rice, chickpeas in tomato sauce topped with fried onions.
For the drinks, they have freshly squeezed sugar cane juice which was refreshing. We got an original kushari with some additional chicken in it. It was delicious and a little gourmet.
We also got the Butter Chicken Kushari which was pretty good and I wasn’t expecting it to work well but the infusion was perfect.
For the desserts, we got a cold rice pudding and a hot umm Ali. The Umm Ali was outstanding and am not even a fan of the dessert. Kushari Bites is a bit pricey compared but great in taste! Hope to be back to try more varieties!
