L’Eto Cafe, Dubai

There are 82 restaurants and cafes in City Walk and I’ve just tried 12 of them. L’Eto Cafe took me by surprise with the fancy interiors and a cozy homely ambiance. The menu was decent. L’Eto serves an all-day breakfast menu from various regions. I went for dinner and not a fan of breakfast so went with the A La Carte menu.

My drink was a raspberry coconut smoothie with coconut milk. There was lime in it too so was a little bitter. We tried the soup of the day which was excellent. There are only salads as appetizers so we picked up a random one from the display. It was pretty good.

For the mains, I went for the lasagne. It had a good amount of meat and cheese in it and was saucy. I’d have it again!

The most difficult part was choosing the dessert. The display full of drool-worthy cakes and pastries. After struggling for a while I chose the Honey cake and made a good choice. Along with that, I got myself an Oreo Mocha which came in a unique presentation and nothing short of an experiment. The idea was to control all the ingredients as per your choice.

The service was good and would recommend this place for a light meal or a cup of coffee and a definite stop for the desserts. I’d be back to try the milk cakes and the profiteroles.
