Katis Restaurant, Sharjah

Katis has been around in Sharjah for 14 years and are pretty famous for their Kati Rolls. I’ve had them delivered a lot of times when I stayed nearby. It’s a new management now and a lot of new dishes introduced.

For starters, I got a variety of momos and chicken Shezwan was excellent as in it had more spice to it.

For the main course – the Mix grill platter was huge. The chicken variety was great and so was the fish tikka. The kebabs were a little dry.

For the curry, we got chicken tikka masala and vegetable Kolhapur. Both the curries had distinctive flavors and my favorite was the chicken tikka masala with garlic naan.

Katis restaurant has also introduced Hyderabadi Biryani. It came with the side of Baingan and Raita. It lacked salt but having it with the condiments it was okay!

For the desserts, there was Gulab Jamun and Tiramisu and I preferred the latter. It was probably outsourced but delicious. Overall, I enjoyed the food and would continue ordering from Katis!
