Roti Rollers, La Mer

One of my favorites from 2017 has launched a second branch at La Mer which is more spacious and with a lot more variety. Roti Rollers is also currently the only Indian restaurant at La Mer.

The ambiance and artwork are bright and relaxing. If you’re a 90’s Bollywood fan then you’d love it even more as the music brings nostalgia.

We started with the Chaat Trolley. Some Dahi and Pani Puri along with spinach fritters. Excellent flavors to begin with. The roti chips now has a new flavor of activated charcoal. I thought it was great with the guacamole but you can try it with 12 different dips!

Then we got a Pav Bhaji which was a healthier version with fewer carbohydrates and an option of butter. The pav was grilled in garlic parsley butter which enhances the taste. The chili omelet paratha was unique. It was crunchy on one side and pretty light.

The wings were very impressive with an Indian twist to this American favorite. The coating was done in curry leaves and has so much flavor leaving you wanting more!

The new addition to their famous Rotis is The Emiroti. Inspired by the local cuisine, it has a nice juicy lamb kebab inside with tahini and various filling. I also loved the salsa with it!

You can’t walk out without having the Karak Tea. It’s a unique blend and probably the best served at La Mer. The service was good and Chef Sameer pampered us with great food! I’d highly recommend Roti Rollers!
