Treej, Dubai

Treej is a casual dining spot in La Mer North that serves modern Emirati food. I had a quick stop at Treej to check out some of the dishes. We sat on the rooftop which gives a nice view of La Mer lighting and the beach.

For starters, I got some Lemon zest prawn. Good flavors and had a nice crunch to it!

From the sandwiches, we ordered a Grilled Chicken Sandwich which was way too dry and needs major improvement. The better choice was the Emirati Burrito. The beans are replaced with chickpeas and Mexican rice changed to Biryani rice.

From the mains, I got a Fouga Deyay and asked them for a spicy version. They just put extra green chillis cut in it and was way too spicy. The grilled chicken on top was nice though!

The food didn’t match my taste palette but would be suitable for people who like their food simple and mild on flavor. The service was decent but there are too many options at La Mer for me to be back at!
