The hottest spot in Dubai – La Mer has a vibrant Latino Fruit Bar in the north which you shouldn’t miss! The name is HOLA and is a homegrown brand inspired by everything Latino. The chandeliers are made of ice cream sticks and the colorful tiles imported from Mexico. The bulbs hanging inside baskets from Peru.
The Ice pops or Paletas as they call in Mexico are a must try. All made in-house and using fresh fruits. I was feeling adventurous so I got myself Mozerella and Berry and it was amazing!
The mango on a stick was fascinating. I had only seen it on youtube until now. Sprinkled with salt it was a mix of sweet and sour.
Hola also serves Ice cream rolls made on a live counter. They can manage to make it look the prettiest in Dubai.
Fruit Bowls with ice cream – we got a melon and it was filled with fresh treats topped with vanilla ice cream. They also have it in papaya and pineapple!
We got some drinks too. The iced latte was a surprise. The coffee is in form of ice pop which melts in the milk. You have an option of coconut and almond milk to choose from.
Hola is a great place to hang out with friends. It’s by the beach and serves refreshing fruits. The staff is friendly and the chef is from Mexico. I will be back for more ice pops and if you’re an Instagrammer, you must visit this place!!
