Sukkar, Dubai

If you have an extra sweeth tooth like me, then a stop at Sukkar is must. It literally means sugar in Arabic. Sukkar boasts over 80+ variety of desserts with an Emirati touch.I managed to try quite a few. The small shop is located right next to the popular Logma on Box Park.

Rose Milk cake – Right off this was my favorite of the lot. If you are a fan of rose, order this blindly.

Chocolate cheesecake – Not a fan of chocolate cheese cake but it was good!

Konafa Rose Cheesecake – I’d pick this over the chocolate. The crunch of Kunafa and the rose flavor blends perfectly.

Sukkar has few types of brownies and the Pretzel Brownie stood out so I had to try it. I like my brownies more gooey and chocolaty but this wasn’t bad at all.

The shakes were impressive and huge! I ordered myself a Rahaash Shake as I grew up eating the halawa and it was filled with pistachio goodness. The other shake was Snicker Shake with almonds. Both of them were smooth and not thick at all!

Sukkar also serves whole cakes, traditional desserts and other signature desserts. I’d recommend this place !!
