I usually love dining in the sky and glad to have finally visited Alta Badia located at the iconic Emirates Towers. An Italian restaurant located on the 50th floor, the 180-degree view was fantastic.
The interiors are simple and modern with plenty of sunlight. There’s a bar upstairs on the 51st floor.
We got a few starters but the breaded mozzarella was a standout with marinara sauce on top.
For the main course, the chef whipped up some special pasta for us. I got tagliatelle with chestnut and truffles. It was pretty good!
The dessert was Italian pandoro. Cake stuffed with berries and drizzled with vanilla sauce. I enjoyed it!
The other dessert was a Semifreddo Al Croccantino and is unique in itself. It had a base of chocolate and lots of berries. Loved it.
Overall, the ambiance and the interiors are stunning but there’s a lag in service and the food is average. There are a few hits but overall needs to improve.
