Beach Lounge at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel has a fantastic view of Burj Al Arab and a private beach to go along with it. It was a strange weather the day we visited – a heavy fog that lasted all through the afternoon which led to poor visibility and closure of the beach.
But that wouldn’t stop me from having some good food. For starters, we got some Shrimp cocktail and it had a great presentation. The sauce was perfect and the salad on the bottom was fresh.
I ordered a Wagyu Beef Burger for the main course. Was surprised to see double patty in it. It was expensive but big in portion. The burger came with a side of fries and salad.
Dessert choice was between Chocolate brownie with orange zest and fresh fruits. Of course, I had to choose the chocolate and it was delicious!
We had the beach access but due to the foggy weather, the flags were up and we could not use the beach to swim. It was disappointing not to get another alternative as the hotel pool was reserved only for hotel guests.
Overall, the service was good and the food too. We had a relaxing day. The place is pricey but it’s justified by the ambiance! Beach Lounge is a cool spot and serves shisha too along with full bar.
