If you’re bored of Friday Brunches, now there’s a DRUNCH in town! Every Friday only at La Tablita between 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM serving Mexican cuisine. Brunch + Dinner = Drunch! La Tablita is located at Hyatt Regency Dubai Creek.
The interiors are modern and pretty. The tables are engraved with Latin skulls which is also the logo of Tablita. They have a bar and a huge dining space from booths to tables.
We started with some tortillas which came with salsa, guacamole, and two more sauces. They served some hot shrimp soup in a glass too. The mocktail was a traditional one and refreshing.
The concept is unlimited ceviches, tacos, and caldos along with margaritas and cantaritos. The sea bass ceviche was excellent! Since it was unlimited I had 3 bowls of it.
Then came the tacos with fillings such as beef tongue, pulled chicken, and corn. I preferred the vegetarian options and still had 7 tacos! The Mexican rice was outstanding too.
For the desserts, there was churros and Tre leches. Out of which I couldn’t stop with the tres leches. It was soft and tasted perfect.
They have a live singer who sang a few Mexican tunes and very good service. The staff could explain the dishes properly. We had a great time and would recommend a Drunch for a lazy Friday. Don’t forget to click some pics in the Mexican hats!
