Shawarma Grill House, Dubai

Shawarma Grill House is one of those places that completely surprised us. We went there expecting it to be yet another shawarma and grill restaurant but it turns out to serve some of the best dishes!

The interiors are pretty hip and urban. The open kitchen has a view of the shawarmas and the grill. The place was jam-packed on a Thursday night.

We ordered a Beef shawarma sandwich. It was premium beef marinated with special spices. I have been having shawarma all over UAE since 20 years and this was a memorable one. The bread had a crisp and the meat was lean. I loved it! The only downside, it costs AED 29.

Not a big fan of falafels but they had some fantastic ones. The Falafel plate came with a side of tahini dip and lots of hummus.

For the main course, we ordered a Shish tawook with a side of Burgul. Shawarma grill house uses hormone-free chicken and hence the top quality food.

Premium Wagyu Tikka is one of the best things I’ve had in 2017. Ribeye cut marinated in secret spices was tender and juicy. If you’re a meat lover, it’s a must try. The saffron rice and greek style yogurt was just a bonus! Be ready to spend AED 219 for this dish.

For the desserts, Shawarma Grill house just serves shakes and ice cream. We got an Oreo and Lotus which came with in-house cones. Very fresh and crispy.

Shawarma Grill house is a fantastic place that focuses on quality and high standards. The service was great considering the place was running at full capacity. It’s a little pricey but worth it. Must try the Shawarma and the grills!
