Indian Summer is an Indian restaurant located in a spacious villa in Jumeirah 3. The interiors are very modern and fresh. We settled in comfortably upstairs and ordered their special drink – Saudi Champagne.
Starter
Giant romali masala papad was served at first with lots of pickles. It was crispy and flavorful. We ordered some BBQ for starters. Some chicken tikka boneless, seekh kebab, and malai chicken. The seekh kabab was a little dry but enjoyed the chicken.
Main course
For the main course, some Balti paneer which came in a bucket. I’d recommend this item and it was the best dish of all. We got some bhuna gosht which had a lot of dry gravy.
The dal tadka was excellent and I would recommend it with the bread. The biryani was boneless and good.
Dessert
The walnut sizzling brownie is a must try. The brownie was rich and fudgy and better than most places in terms of quality. The ras malai was pretty good too. Full marks on desserts.
Overall, the food and the service is decent and the pricing is fair too. If you’re looking to take large gathering, Indian summer is a great place to host.
