Roti Rollers is the latest spot to open in Dubai and a must try! With an ‘East Meets West’ focus, Roti Rollers brings Indian street food to Dubai with evolutionary flavors and tastes.
The restaurant is fun and quirky but has a limited seating. Loved the black and yellow combination everywhere.
Roti Rollers have some refreshing drinks. Mangonade was sweet and tangy and one of our choices. Salted Caramel Date Lassi was good but my pick was Mango Lassi which was easy to sip and not heavy!
The concept of Roti Rollers is infusing natural ingredients right in the Roti itself. They have beetroot, avocado, lentil, and pav bhaji infused Rotis. There’s also wholewheat roti for the simple people.
You can either build your custom Roti roll or just grab their signature rolls with funky names. We got an ‘Up all night to get Plucky’ and ‘Hen Stefani’. The plucky was Chicken Tikka in tikka masala with red onion, red chili, parsley, coriander, and parsley. It had a lot of flavors to it. The Hen Stefani was milder with saucy chicken kebab in a beetroot roti.
You can add sides to the rotis and I would highly recommend the Smashed Fried Okra and the Masala Fries. They were incredibly well done and we couldn’t stop munching on them. The dips along with it were superb as well.
Roti Rollers also has an All day Breakfast menu. We tried the Green Gram Dosa which had an amazing and unexpected stuffing of Edamame. A must try!
If you don’t like to roll it, you can bowl it. I am a rice person and absolutely loved the Pulao Rice with tender beef Seekh Kebabs which they make out of tenderloin cut. The side of grilled corn was amazing too!
There’s only 1 dessert choice – Hershey’s Chocolate Samosa. Crunchy samosa with oozing Hershey. Glad they didn’t follow in the Nutella craze and delivered something new.
To end it all, Truck Driver Chai was perfect with an infusion of saffron and ginger.
We will be raving about Roti Rollers a lot as it’s a brand new concept and the flavors are fresh and spot on! We loved everything that we tried. Chef Sameer brings his fine dining experience and adds great twists and flavors to the food. I can’t wait to try the rest of the menu!
