We were back at Morah and this time for the Friday Brunch. Morah serves Mediterranean cuisine and has one of the best views of Dubai. It serves a great variety of food and a lot of dishes from the main menu and you can possibly try them all!
Starters
The variety of starters at Morah Brunch is excellent. It’s all laid out on a platform in mini portions and you can have your picks. The sweet potato hummus is remarkable with the Turkish bread.
There was grass-fed steak tartar, mixed olives, salads, beetroot labneh, and vine leaves. We enjoyed each and every one of the items. There was also live oyster counter which we skipped.
Main course
I loved the mini portions of the main course prepared fresh on order. It stops wastage and you can try almost entirely everything. My favorite pick would be the Turkish Manti dumpling even though it didn’t have any meat!
The fried chicken was crispy and flavorful. It came with a side of habanero sauce.
Cod wrapped in vine leaf was another winner.
Woodfire pide was mini but fresh and tasty.
Desserts
Morah brunch had some really selected and fine desserts. You can help yourself at the dessert counter.
The Banoffee tart was my favorite along with the chocolate cake which had an amazing layer of jelly. I was stuffed to try more but whatever I had was impressive.
Morah has a new selection of ice creams. Cherry yogurt, pistachio, and saffron. If you love saffron then it’s for you as the flavor was strong. My pick was the cherry yogurt with dehydrated meringue.
The service this time was excellent and our server did a brilliant job in suggestions. The belly dancing wasn’t a part of the brunch due to some permission issues. So please check while reserving a table. Although, the food, ambiance, and service are enough to have a great time.
