There are currently more than 7000+ restaurants serving. One must be unique to stand out of the crowd. ‘The Restaurant’ at The Address Boulevard is one of them. Imagine a massive European home transformed into a restaurant. An ambiance like never seen before!
The lobby takes you to a lounge which has a kitchen next to it. A fine dining area, the collector’s room, a dressing room, a study which also leads to a secret room hidden behind the bookshelves.
In addition, there are more rooms! The music room for smoking, games room with a bar and a library! Hiding in plain sight, the secret room was where our table was set.
It’s a little claustrophobic but gives you 100% privacy. You can even choose your own music to play via Bluetooth.
A giant bell is placed to call in the butler at any time you need. He’s waiting behind the door the whole time you’re inside.
Starters
The menu is fairly simple. We ordered some Prawn Kibbeh which was a first. Usually, we’ve eaten just with meat. It came with a side of avocado labneh. We also got some Fine Burrata with various tomatoes.
Main Course
Since I was in the mood for a Steak, Josper Grilled Wagyu Striploin was my choice. Had a beautiful presentation with chimichurri sauce and some pea smash on the side.
Fregola Sarda was very flavorful. A mix of seafood – Prawns, baby squid, scallops, and asparagus.
Desserts
Fermented Chocolate was a surprise. It probably had more than 6 different chocolates. The fermented dark chocolate being a standout.
Mango Cheesecake was presented in a fine gourmet way. It had a whole biscuit as a base, cheese on top and fresh mangoes. Served with mango sorbet, it was gone quick!
Breakfast
We also visited The Restaurant during our 2-day staycation for breakfast and can confidently say, it’s one of the best places for breakfast! Honestly, enjoyed it more than the dinner.
The Restaurant also serves Shisha at the terrace which would be amazing in the winters right with the Burj view.
The service was excellent as it should be when you have a private butler at your service. The minimum for the secret room is AED 2000 and can be best used for proposals or a date night! We dined at 4 of the settings and The collector’s room was my choice! One must visit The Restaurant to experience it.
