I am always open to trying out new cuisines, restaurants, and food but was very skeptical about High Tea or Afternoon Tea. It was my first time trying it and I was very curious to know more! So during my staycation at Address Boulevard, we tried the Art Crafted afternoon Tea at the Lounge.
The ambiance is that of an art gallery. Very elegant and admirable. It’s worth the visit just to see the huge chandeliers and art work all around. All the art work at The Address Boulevard was custom made for the hotel.
On display are some pretty desserts and cakes. On first sight, you’d want to try every single item! A lot of luxurious chairs and sofas to choose from. I loved how the sunlight brightened up everything.
Our Art crafted afternoon tea came with a unique welcome drink. It was peachy with a giant ice ball and had a flower inside it. Tasted like a fine mocktail. Loved it!
The canapes came upon a drawer with the sweets on top. Particularly loved the caviar, which turned out to be chocolate caviar with mousse base. Mango on a stick and mini eclairs were great too.
The savory items were inside the drawers. The first drawer had some salmon sandwiches and the second one had Fois Gras macaroon and mini burrata buns. You must taste them to know that the quality was high!
In the third drawer, there were also two types of scones to go with the tea. They have a huge collection of the finest tea.
I picked an ‘1837 White tea’ as I hadn’t tried it before. It came in a beautiful pot along with a silver strainer. It was exquisite and very fine!
Overall, our experience was very royal. All you need for an Afternoon tea at the Lounge is some great company and it will enhance the experience further. Thankfully we did! Watch out for the restaurant review and the Hotel review!
