Located in Dubai Marine Beach Resort and Spa on Jumeirah 1 road. The restaurant is literally sitting on top of the beach.
Venue
The weather was pretty good so we sat outdoors. They also have a cool indoor seating with similar lighting.
Drinks
We got some mocktails and they were really good!
Starters
10 different starters were served on the table. It’s called Feast for a reason. Below are some the favorites!
Miso Soup
Seared Tuna Salad
Seaweed Salad
Yellow Fin Tartar
Prawn Spring Rolls
Sushi and Maki
A platter of Sushi and maki rolls of chef choice was presented. The sushi was fresh and we loved the maki rolls.
Main course
Rock Shrimp tempura was crunchy and excellent. It’s a signature dish of Sho Cho. This was not on the Monday Night feast menu.
Chicken Yellow Chili had a slight gravy but it wasn’t spicy at all. We enjoyed the chicken.
Beef Teriyaki was full of flavors. The meat was tender and sprinkled with sesame.
Desserts
Chawan Mushi is probably the best Japanese dessert I’ve had. It was coconut custard on the base and topped with mango and papaya.
Yizu Cheesecake was delicious. It had the slight hint of citrus which gave an extra flavor to it.
I loved the Mochi here as it had ice cream filling. I’ve only come across custard filled mochi in Dubai. Three flavors – Chocolate, coconut and green tea.
The exotic fruit platter – cut pieces of exotic fruits!
We had a great night and never eaten so many starters. The price is very reasonable starting at AED 150 for the non-alcoholic package.
