Cielo Sky Lounge is probably the highest point at Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club which gives an awesome view of Dubai’s skyline across the creek. We went for Friday 2 in 1 brunch at Casa de Tapas & Cielo Sky Lounge which promises an afternoon of scrumptious food, everlasting fun and lots of entertainment.
We got a table by the sea view and ordered our drinks. The seating was outdoor with a lot of umbrellas and the ambiance relaxed as the DJ mixed up the tunes.
There were a lot of stations but my favorite was the Pancake where a chef would prepare one fresh for you. I got mine with Nutella and Berry sauce which was just too good!
The BBQ station had a lot of choices – Chicken, Beef, Lamb, and Prawns. A whole station dedicated to sauces as well.
The best of the lot was hands down the Chicken skewers. It was marinated and grilled perfectly and had a unique taste. The meat was also good but the prawns really needed some marination as it seemed raw and tasteless.
The taco station had chicken and beef but also had tuna and egg sandwiches. The problem here was the flies..there was a lot of them! They definitely need to get a cover for this. I didn’t try any of this!
The dessert station was small but enjoyable. I tried the brownies and they were delicious.
There were a burger station and a salad corner too. The problem – most of the food was not labeled and I like to know what I’m eating before hand.
Nevertheless, we had such a good time here that we forgot to check out the 2nd brunch which was at Casa de Tapas, a level below! I don’t know if we can blame the host or ourselves for not having that knowledge.
As the weather is perfect right now, it’s the best time to visit Cielo Sky lounge!
