Rajdhani Thali, popularly known as “ THE KING OF THALI” is an Indian vegetarian chain of restaurant and its only branch in Dubai is located in Karama. There are a number of such restaurants in Dubai now due to its popular demand and good food.
The interiors are warm and welcoming in golden shades. The restaurant was spick and span and has a lot of seating to accommodate large groups as well.
All the tables are pre-set with large steel plates with around 10 bowls which will be filled later with goodies.
Since it has a 365-day menu, you would never eat the same meal twice. A display of our meal was present at the entrance so we know what we will be having!
As a welcome drink, they served us Lemonade and Buttermilk. For starters, we got some beetroot salad, dokhla, chutneys, and chaat.
Four different types of vegetables were served which included Paneer and cholay. Four types of Indian bread are also served and with lots of ghee, it gets very rich in flavor.
We also got 4 types of dals and 2 types of rice. Not one or two but three types of desserts! UNLIMITED!
The food quality was good. Some dishes were a hit while some missed. The variety is huge and unlimited so you can eat more of what you like. The service was good, but they did not serve us poppadums and crackers til the end of the meal and after requesting for it.
The meal package is AED 38 for the weekdays and AED 42 for the weekends. They also have take-away boxes for various prices. However, Tuesday is a special offer for just AED 22.
