You might have seen ladies boasting themselves off as Makeup Junkies, but how many of us have heard the term “Skincare Junkie”? Over the years I have turned into a Skincare junkie! Thanks to my acne-prone, dehydrated skin which has turned me into a Beauty Blogger (mind you, I’m not complaining, lol).
I thought I’d share my thoughts with you today on the products I’ve been trying out, by Derma E, called the Hydrating Range with Hyaluronic Acid. I’ve only recently begun to incorporate products containing hyaluronic acid from different skincare brands and to be honest, I didn’t notice any radical changes in my skin as far as other brands are concerned!
Hyaluronic acid sounds a lot scarier than it is, and I know a lot of people get weird when it comes to putting anything with the word ‘acid’ on their skin, but not all acids are harmful. Hyaluronic acid is actually something that our bodies produce naturally; babies produce high amounts of this, which is why their skin is so smooth and supple, and as we grow older, we produce less of this substance. Hyaluronic acid works to moisturize your skin by binding up to 1000 times its weight in water! Adding hyaluronic acid into your skincare/anti-aging routine is a must to give the appearance of healthy, younger-looking skin.
Derma E is a natural skincare brand that is cruelty-free, gluten-free, GMO-free, paraben-free, and Vegan. So, if you’re after a brand that utilizes natural and cruelty-free processes, this may be one to check out. This is one of the most trustworthy skincare brands according to me. I’ve never had a breakout with any of their products. In fact, their products have cleared my skin out and prevented from breakouts. I have used their award winning makeup remover from the purple range, Very clear range, Charcoal range and now the Hydrating range with Hyaluronic Acid.
Derma E Hydrating Cleanser
This hydrating cleanser is formulated with hyaluronic acid, green tea, aloe and vitamin c, and is designed to rinse away dirt and impurities and unclog pores, leaving your skin rehydrated and refreshed. This deeply moisturizing, sulfate-free cleanser washes away dirt, oil and impurities with no drying after-effects. The fact that it has Hyaluronic Acid in it, makes it better for my dry and dehydrated combination skin. My face doesn’t feel tight after washing. I love its sweet scent. The best part about all the Derma E cleansers is that they have pump heads which make them super convenient to use and hygienic too. Derma E cleansers are the BEST cleansers I have ever tried. It’s a safe bet. Highly recommend this product. Invest in a good cleanser to have a healthy and hydrated skin.
Derma E Hydrating Day Creme
This ultra-hydrating day creme thoroughly moisturizes and plumps to reduce the look of fine lines and wrinkles. It is very light in consistency. This is a fantastic Hyaluronic acid product which is non-greasy. It smells so good. It leaves my skin smooth and supple. I so wish that it had SPF in it.
Another complaint I have is that it comes in a jar. This is not the right packaging for a Hyaluronic acid product. To keep the product potent, it needs to be in a squeeze bottle or something similar with a cap that is air tight. The minute that you open this jar, the product begins to break down. But if your skin is extremely dry and chapped, this won’t be strong enough for you.
Derma E Hydrating Night Creme
This award winning product is extra-rich, deeply penetrating creme, infused with Vitamins A and E, Ester-C, Allantoin and Macadamia Oil. It drenches your skin in moisture. By plumping skin tissue, fine lines and wrinkles seem to disappear. Product is Gluten Free, paraben free, hypoallergenic and is not tested on animals.
Apply a small amount of Hydrating Night Crème onto the fingertips and apply to the entire face and throat in light upward strokes. Use in the evening or whenever extra moisture is needed. May be used under make-up. On the very first night I used it, I could see a difference. My skin was much firmer and smoother the very next day. Being a beauty Blogger, I have jars and jars of face creams (a lot more expensive than derma e) that do not perform as well as this product. The fragrance itself smells delicious and it is slightly pink in color. This is an excellent product and I would give it a double thumbs up.
