Maharajah Bhog, Dubai

Maharajah Bhog has opened their 2nd Branch and it’s located in Discovery Garden. We have been regulars since their launch in Karama. Maharaja Bhog serves Premium Vegetarian Thali and they serve it with excellence.

The interiors are bright and rich in gold. Very similar to the Karama Branch but a little smaller.

Everyone gets a huge steel plate with 9 bowls and 3 glasses. It will fill up quickly and keeps refilling till you drop dead!

They serve 30 days, 30 menus so you will not eat the same every time! We got some Tangy Orange juice as a welcome drink along with yummy butter milk.

For starters, there was a Sindhi dish called Dal Pakwan and some Gujarati Dhokla. We also got small tikkis which were delicious. The wafers were my favorite! Once you pop you can’t stop.

The plate quickly filled up with a lot of chutneys, beetroot yogurt, chilies, pickles, and onion. There was 4 vegetables served on the left side and 4 curries/dal on the right. The specialty of the day was Saag and makai roti.

Their bread was outstanding and you will fill up quickly especially with all the butter on top. Go at an easy pace as they will also serve rice and khitchdi. The food quality is excellent and there is so much of variety on the plate and you can keep refilling your favorites.

There is also 2 types of desserts served which you can even eat in the middle of the meal to take a break from all the savory and spicy! The service is excellent and the staff will actually force you to eat more and keep serving. I usually take my foreign guests to showcase Indian vegetarian dishes and everyone loves it. Highly recommended!!

AED 35 for Weekdays and AED 39 for Weekends
