I was approached by the marketing team of a South Korean Skincare brand called Gobdigoun to try out and review their best selling products. Their products are mostly selling in Myeong-dong, Seoul, South Korea, in LG Brand Skincare Product Store. Since 2010, Gobdigoun started the business in Korea. Compared to the lower price skincare products in Korea, the products of Gobdigoun are with high quality and middle to higher price range. Among the products of Gobdigoun, 24K Golden Cream Placenta Power, Placenta Cellulose Bio-Gel Mask and Placenta Power Aging Corrector Eye Cream, are the best selling products in China, Taiwan and Japan’s market. And these are the three products that I will be reviewing in this post.
At first, I was a bit reluctant to use Placenta products as I thought these products were made of Human Placenta and that notion just put me off. But the marketing manager convinced me that these products contained only the Placental Protein of Australian Sheep. I was assured by the team that these products are cruelty free. And when I read about all the benefits of Australian Sheep Placental Protein, I knew I had to try these out. While the use of sheep placenta (or placenta in general) has been widely debatable for use, some celebrities such as Victoria Beckham, swears by it as their skincare secret to looking youthful.

Application Method:

My Verdict:
This is the first time that I’m using any product which contains Placenta. I have been using this cream as a night cream because of its rich texture. The minute you apply it on your skin, you will notice particles of gold leaf which is such an incredible sight and feeling. You know it instantly that how luxurious this product is as it melts into your skin, leaving it smooth and silky. it has a mild yet pleasant scent. The packaging is commendable! It comes in a Golden jar and a spatula for hygienic purposes. I have a very sensitive, combination skin which is susceptible to acne. But I’m very happy as this cream suits my skin and I haven’t had any breakouts ever since I’ve been using this cream.
