We are a fan of Kempinski Hotels, particularly the one in Ajman. Last week we tried the New York Style Italian Brunch on a Friday afternoon which will soon be replaced by the Friday Garden Brunch by the beach when the weather flips on the cooler side.
Located on the first floor of Kempinski Hotel, the restaurant gives you a beautiful view of their private beach and pool! There’s seating indoors and the outdoors are well.
The live singing was a lovely touch. We didn’t realise it was live singing till we spotted the duo in action. They did a real good job especially on the classics!
The Italian Style brunch had a LOT of stations and variety to choose from. The fresh salads were our favorites for starters. Believe me, you’d have a hard time deciding which one to have or pick!
The meat station also had a lot of variety: Prawns, kababs, Chicken, Steak, and Salmon. With a lot of sauces and sides to choose from, there was no stopping.
It was an Italian brunch so we could not miss out on the freshly prepared pasta! I got myself a conchiglie in a mixed sauce while Mr. A got a plate of spicy bolognese.
The staff of Kempinski restaurants is always interactive and friendly. The service was a little slow as they were running a full house! They really maintain the buffet area well and make sure they there’s no shortage of any dish.
The other stations to choose from was the Pizzas, the hot dog stand, Sushi, Shawarma and variety of bread. It’s times like these you wish to have four stomachs. There’s a vast variety of cakes to try as well which look unrealistic.
Chocolate shawarma is something not to be missed. The chocolate shavings are rolled in a pancake and topped with berries for some amazing dessert. Mr. A in particular absolutely loved it.
We were glad to be back at Kempinski and had a wonderful time at Sabella. The Friday brunch also comes with the pool and beach access which is highly recommended! You also can’t miss the Friday Garden Brunch!
