Tribes, Dubai Mall

Tribes have launched their 2nd branch and which is located in The Dubai Mall. It’s called The Tribes Carnivore and a paradise for meat lovers. We were invited for the launch of the restaurant. The African drums and the dancing set the ambiance for the food.

For the starters, you have an unlimited buffet of Salad with plenty of variety and flavors. Something new we got to try was the beetroot hummus! There was a lot of sides as well but we both were set on the Truffle Mac and Cheese which is beyond description. Must try!!

Once you have your starters ready, you can turn the Green drum up and the meat will start rolling in! Due to the chaos we missed out on the African mocktails.

We tried plenty of meat and in various flavors and must say that all the different cuts of the meat had their own spices and marination.

They also have a lot of dressing and sauces if you want to enhance the flavors! We got the Pepper sauce which was excellent.

Apart from the steaks and chops, my personal favorite was the Koftas which were smoked and would melt in your mouth.

We always love the pineapple grill and ordered two more rounds of it!

Also loved the crispy bacon wrapped around chicken. Besides the red meat, they also served chicken and sausages.

We end the meal on a sweet note with a walnut cake which had caramel on top. They set it ablaze to melt and soften it. It was heavenly when eaten with the side of a vanilla scoop.

Tribes was an awesome experience since we are meat lovers. Although, it is very similar to Chamas that we have tried earlier but the flavors are more African than Brazilian. I would recommend Tribes – Carnivore for the meaty experience and stuffing yourself for the whole day!
