Application

Every night after cleansing, I massage a thin layer evenly over my face and neck. It’s natural collagen claims to fill, plump, and reduce wrinkles within weeks so skin looks and feels more youthful.

Smell & texture

This cream has a very pleasant floral scent but its smell isn’t overpowering. The texture is very light and water based. The best thing about this cream is that it isn’t greasy at all. It quickly absorbs into your skin and immediately hydrates and softens your skin without feeling sticky on your face.

After Effects

I surely feel that this pot of skin butter hydrated my skin back to health while plumping pores for a youthful glow.

This formula promises to smoothen and strengthen skin by creating collagen bonds to boost elasticity and reduce wrinkles. Thankfully I’m young enough not to have any wrinkles or visible signs of aging yet. But as wise men say that prevention is better than cure so I have decided to use collagen night creams to prevent wrinkles and saggy skin.

Other than that I’ve started noticing that my skin feels elastic and slightly tightened. It also feels much hydrated and moisturized.

The only con would be that this luxurious cream is a bit too pricey. It is priced at AED 450 and you can buy it from an online beauty store called Bashara Shop.

How to Use

If you have trouble swallowing chunky tablets than opt for the powder instead. I have a fear of huge tablets, hence I chose not to take these tablets myself.

I decided to try these tablets on my mother instead to notice the visible difference.

She has been taking these tablets regularly at night and is about to finish a month’s course.

Noticeable changes like reduction in wrinkles, hair growth, and stronger nails can only be seen after 3 months use. But after a month she feels that her skin feels a bit firmer and hydrated. Her complexion also looks brighter. These changes are enough for her to continue using Glow Radiance Defy tablets or powder this time.

Every morning after washing my face, I use this cream as a moisturizer. A small quantity goes a long way.

Smell & texture

The smell of this cream is very enchanting. This is very similar to defy cream in texture. But I feel the texture of this one is light and airy than defy. Like defy, hydra too is water based cream and quickly gets absorbed into your skin. It is non-greasy but has a very strong staying power.

Results

After using this cream daily for a month, I can say that it delivers what it promises. It has definitely worked well on my skin. Since I have a combination skin with cheeks being dry, I often suffer from redness and flakiness but after using this cream for a month, I have noticed a visible reduction in redness and thankfully there is no flakiness. I also use this cream as a primer under my base and the results are great.

My Verdict

This luxurious cream is a perfect moisturiser for acne prone & dehydrated skin. Having said that, it has its share of cons too.

Firstly it comes in a jar, which I find quite unhygienic. Secondly, it is priced at AED 250 which is quite expensive. Why would anyone spend so much on a moisturizer when they can buy the dupes at a much cheaper price from drugstores.

Would I be buying this myself? No. Although I love everything about this product but the price is a bummer.
