Since Ramadan is around the corner, The Iftar Preview season has begun in Dubai and we were invited to Bayty at the Warwick Hotel Dubai. It was a bloggers and a media event. Warwick Hotel is located on Sheikh Zyed Road.
The interiors were modern with lots of wood work and yellow led lights giving a bright and yet calm feel in tune with Ramadan. The chairs and seating were comfortable.
There was a huge traditional tent at the waiting area with coffee and fruits.
The Salad bar and choice of starters were plenty to pick from. Besides the various salads, they even had sushi included. Although they had some international cuisine, it was mainly Arabic and Levantine.
Besides soups, they also had chicken shawarma and a Saj counter where you could customize the Fresh Saj with ingredients of your choice.
If its Arabic food, there ought to be Oozi – Flavorful rice with a roasted lamb! Bayty was also serving fresh grilled meat and chicken which Mr. A couldnt click much pictures of due to the rush building up.
Also had variety of International dishes, out of which I tried the Macaroni and found it rather as a comfort food.
The choice in desserts was enormous and also was the best part of the Buffet. The Mahalabiya was particularly very exceptional.
Besides the pastries, cakes and canopies they also had an Arabic section of dessert. I wouldn’t dare try them all!
If all that wasn’t enough, they also had Hot Arabic desserts like Umm Ali and a few more.
We had a pleasure of talking to the French head chef who explained how they use all the fresh ingredients and keep the quality maintained.
Ramadan Buffet is priced at AED 165 per person.
