One fine morning we received some LOVE from Lights and Letters. LITERALLY! Lights & Letters is exactly what the names says…It’s Letters with Lights on them. We received 4 Letters – 23cm Metal marquees. L. O. V. E.

Package and Function

All 4 letters came neatly packed in individual boxes. The metal marquees run on 2 x AA battery which are not included in the pack. There’s a cute little switch on the right side of each letter which turns on the lights and brightens the room.

 

The batteries go in the back of the letters. No plugs or wires, so no mess! Not sure how long the batteries last but I have been using it on and off for 12 days and no sign of weakness. However if you plan not to switch them on for long time, it’s better to remove the batteries.There’s a nail holder in the back of letters in case you want to hang it on the wall as well.

The letter itself is made of Metal and has small bulbs on the front side. It’s heavy and balances itself nicely on its own. The Metal Marquee range uses a stylish artistic font, transparent light bulb cover and a beautiful rustic silver. All the letters have different amount of bulbs on them and are surprisingly very bright.

The Effect

Once you switch the lights on everything looks so pretty. The light adds a sparkle to the room and brings a good vibe or energy. Be it your living room or the bedroom, it looks good everywhere.

Even if you want to place it outdoor, you can. However I don’t recommend it due to UAE’s hot and humid weather.

The only complain which I have is the paint on the surface of letters keep flaking away leaving a rusty dust behind. I have kept them in a cool and dry place since 12 days yet its flaking when I hold it in my hand. The rustic silver letter brings a vintage look though.

Purpose

The lights can be used for many purposes such as centerpieces, wall hangings, decoration and backdrop as photography. As a Blogger, for me would be the most useful!
