I love travelling to far off lands to take a break from the monotony of the routine life & also to satisfy the travel bug in me. With the global rise in the trend of staycation – the perfect way to unwind for a few days in a hotel or resort, without travelling to another country! I began my weekend staycation at the Kempinski Hotel, Ajman by driving down to the shores of Ajman.
Kempinski Hotel Ajman is a luxury hotel built in 1998 . The hotel offers two spas, a 500 meter-long private beach, a gym and a bowling alley.
Its beach is unique amongst hotels on the west coast of the United Arab Emirates, with clean white sand and the sort of unobstructed view of the Persian Gulf that is difficult to come by in the neighboring Emirate of Dubai.
Although the structure of the hotel looks a bit dated from outside at the first glance, but you would be at a great loss if you judge this book by its cover. The interior of this five star hotel is so rich & classy that it can give a run for their money to its competitors. The lobby area has a touch of both modern and a traditional interior. High ceilings and wide walkways with excellent lighting makes a relaxing atmosphere. Live Piano playing was very soothing.

Our check-in process took less than 5 minutes due to the highly efficient staff at the reception. The Valet parked our car and got the luggage as we proceeded to the room.

Our room was a Deluxe Suite with a fabulous sea view, on the 6th floor. The deluxe suite had a spacious sitting/dining room with a big balcony along the width of the room, facing the private beach.

The hall was well decorated. Arabic pattern paintings, traditional lights and modern furniture were all well synchronized. The dining area had a round wooden table for four. The giant LED was such a delight to look at but the panoramic sea view was even better.

The long balcony had two small tables at opposite ends with two chairs respectively. There was also a lounge chair in the balcony to lie down and relax.

The dining table had a very charming and a traditional welcome. An Arabic kettle made out of White chocolate was placed along with Pistachio stuffed dates. More blocks of white and dark chocolate with Ajman written on it. Also loved the Arabic sweets.

The bedroom was warm and cozy with an attached bathroom. The canopy on top of the bed gave a royal touch to the room. There was a separate balcony facing the beach in the bedroom taking luxury to another level.

A Giant mirror and a giant TV with a dressing table was good enough for me to spend my day but the hotel had a lot more to offer. There was a lot of storage space in the suite. The closet in the bedroom even had a separate rack for my Vince Camuto Stilettos.

The rooms were very clean and well maintained. The bathroom had a bath tub as well as a shower room. The best part was that the traditional lights were even in the bathroom which also acted as spot lights for me to do my makeup and get ready for my dinner at their Award Winning Restaurant, Bukhara.

The restaurants and other facilities at Kempinski Ajman Hotel were outstanding. They have a 24-hour buffet restaurant, 3 further restaurants with international fare, plus 6 bars and a shisha lounge.
For me the private beach was definitely the icing on the cake. The clean white sand beach with a lot of waves was a pleasure to hang out at. All the foreigners mainly choose Kempinski Ajman to relax and sun bathe on this Caribbean Style beach.

The pool area was also very beautiful. There was a bar at the edge of the pool and also a separate kids swimming pool. The weather was a bit cold but thankfully the pool was temperature controlled so it was very soothing to swim in warm water.

On the whole Kempinski hotel Ajman has a lot to offer and you need at least 3 to 4 days to fully explore all the luxurious facilities that it has to offer including the spa, gym and other activities area.
I’m an avid traveler, but I have never experienced this level of personal care by the staff anywhere else. I don’t doubt why people from all over the world keep flocking back here for serenity and peace. The outstanding service of the staff is commendable. They don’t leave any stone unturned to make your stay the most memorable and comfortable stay ever.
I would definitely recommend Kempinski Hotel Ajman to all my friends and family who chose to get away for a relaxing time away from the noisy city life.
