MAXON Canada – Pure Derm Range

I love trying out Brands that are relatively new to this region or the ones that are not commercially available . So when I found out that Maxon Canada products are available in selected pharmacies across U.A.E, I was eager to try out their targeted treatment range  . Maxon Canada claims to have a wide range of products catering to all types of skin. Maxon’s range of hair, face and body care products are developed using advanced technology and formulated with high concentration of active ingredients.

Since I have acne prone skin so I was advised to try their Pure Derm range, which promises to be a complete acne-fighting solution.

1. Maxon Pure Derm Facial Wash

This foaming facial wash digs deep to clean pores, attack acne, blackheads and pimples and prevent future breakouts.

This transparent cleansing gel which comes in a tube, is a bit runny in consistency as compared to the other gel based face washes that I’ve used previously. So be careful when you squeeze the tube. It has a very mild soothing smell like a medicated face wash. I like to massage my face gently with this gel to create lather. Then I leave the product on my face for two minutes, giving it enough time to work on my skin. Then I rinse my face thoroughly with cold water & gently dry my face. I have been using this 150 ml facial wash twice a day, since a month now. I can notice that this formula has kept my acne in control by effectively removing excess oils, without causing dryness or irritation. It would be unreasonable to expect the acne to be gone forever, but by using this face wash regularly, your pores will stay clean from impurities and the breakout would be less.

2. Maxon Pure Derm Cream

This maximum strength cream claims to transform acne-prone skin to clear and healthy glowing skin within days. It is a beauty weapon against oily, blemish-prone skin. This deep-cleansing cream clears pores, soothes skin & reduces shine.

Like pure derm face wash, this cream is also free from colorants & fragrances. I apply this cream twice a day only on the affected areas such as blemishes, acne and pores. After applying a thin layer of the cream, you might feel slight burning sensation for a few minutes but once the cream dries, the burning sensation will go. The effects might vary from person to person.  It contains acne-fighting ingredients like tea tree oil & salix bar, hence it is the healthy way to repair & even reverse skin damage.

Don’t expect overnight results. I’ve been using it since almost a month now and the change isn’t very radical but gradual. When I applied it on a pimple, I felt that the pimple took the same time to go away like it usually does. The acne marks look lighter but not completely vanished. But I’d repeat, the results vary from skin to skin. It might show miraculous results on your skin.

On the whole, this product is a targeted treatment to deal with acnes, open pores and blackheads. If used regularly along with eating healthy and taking proper sleep, it will assist you in getting rid of those nasty blemishes and stubborn acne.
