We head to Kababji Grill with family for celebrating our niece’s birthday who turned 4. Located in Marina Promenade under the Paloma Tower in Dubai Marina. They have indoor and outdoor seating. We opted to sit indoors because of the kids and windy weather. The interior is lit in white with modern designs.
We got a table of eight and ordered starters like Mutabbal, Hummus, Arayes and Cheese rakakat. It was served with packed pita bread which had 1 brown and 2 white bread. The Mutabbal & Hummus was creamy and rich in texture but was disappointed there was no freshly baked pita. The kids enjoyed the Cheese Rakakat.

Arayes is Pita bread stuffed with ground meat with spices and grilled. Sliced in 8 pieces, it was crispy and flavorful. The plate was finished in seconds.

For the main course, we ordered 4 dishes off the grill menu. The Chicken Kabab was soft and little bland which was good for the kids as they like zero spice in their food.

The Mixed grill had Shish Tawuk, Kabab hallabi and Kabab Istambouli. I was expecting the dish to be bigger as suggested by the waiter it was for two but it wasn’t big enough for two. Topped with spicy bread and sided with grilled onions, tomatoes & Potatoes it tasted good.

Kabab Khachtkach is what I usually order in Lebanese restaurants. The plate had 4 grilled kababs and it comes with tomato sauce. The salad on the side was good. I have had better Kabab khashkash in other Lebanese Restaurants.

Kabab Intabli was spicier than the others as it had hot pepper paste in the ground meat along with pine nuts and other spices. It was my favorite compared to other dishes in BBQ menu.

Finished off the night by cutting a delicious Oreo Chocolate cake from Roche.
Overall, Kababji is an average place with average food. The bad part about dining indoor is the washroom doors open right to the dining area which spread foul smell across the restaurant. Service was good and the staff was friendly. I would recommend the Arayes and Kabab Intabli.
